Newt goes on the offensive after CNN’s John King brings up the “open marriage” controversy: After John King opened the debate with the mention of his ex-wife’s upcoming interview, King asked Gingrich, “Would you like to take some time to respond to that?”. Newt: “No, but I will.”
Gingrich called the “elite media” destructive, calling CNN’s decision to bring up the controversy “trash.” He added, ”I’m appalled you would begin a presidential debate like that.” Based on the audience’s roaring applause throughout Gingrich’s criticism of CNN and the mainstream media, I’m guessing they couldn’t agree more.

2.) Callista is in my freaking nightmares. Look in her eyes. Seriously. There’s something missing. It’s Stepford esque, and it makes me nervous. If a public figure’s wife was ever potentially a robot (and/or brainwashed zombie minion), it’s Callista.
3.) I’ve always imagined this was how their first encounter went:
“Hi, I’m Callista!”
“Wow, Callista, that’s such an odd name. My name is Newt. It’s pretty odd too. Wanna have sex?”
“Sure.”
